Our boho Jumpsuits June 25, 2019 13:00

 Thanks to Catherine Jacobs in her recent Summer update on How to Wear Jumpsuits https://www.liveabout.com/cathy-jacobs-2040196 from Liveabout and dotdash 

Invented by a Florentine designer ( 1919) for use of jumping out of planes, then commandeered by Elsa Schiaparelli in ( one of Coco Chanels arch rivals ) in the 30’s  it became a fashion item on the air raided streets of Paris ( complete with gas mask ). 

The jumpsuits are now officially the thing .. again .. that’s great news because I adore them .. I might make a whole collection of different jumpsuits. 

.I prefer them on girls and not so keen to see them on boys . Girls look great because they look like they’re wearing a blokes thing, ( and boys just look blokey) although it depends on the style of jump of course , not a chance of anyone looking blokey in one these . 

Only Mick Jagger ( and myself ) can pull off our silky boho chic beachwear style jump and look sexy ! 

 

This is after all one of our specialties (seen above modelled by Azul ) and yes,  I have to wear them too , when checking my tailor has the correct cut, and I find it embarrassing to run out into the street asking random girls if they could spare the time to checkout my jump ( I have proof and selfies ! Anyone wanna see ? Please DM me ) 

 

So anyway now the fashion pages are awash with them ..but I have never come across anything like our boho gypsy coloured suits. 

Well.. the great news is I’ve started my third production of this year and this print ( pictured ) I managed to find again . 

I also have a few more styles in the pipeline .. watch this space .
